TOPDOWN KNITTING TUTORIAL IN ALL SIZES AND GAUGE

All you need to know to make modern seamless knits for all your loved ones !

Since 4 years I knitted about thirty sweaters with this technique, 
one technique to improvise circular knit sweater or cardigan in any size and using any yarn

You can use your favorite yarn or yarn that you already have at home

and whatever size needle you want

It's a great knitting project that uses only stockinette stitch with minimal details and no waist shaping 

The pattern is unisex and made to fit you ; raglan sleeves give such a professional look

The construction is quite simple and easy :

- all work is done with right side facing

- knit seamlessly from the collar to cuffs

Topdown construction means no seaming : no seams for extra comfort, more finished appearence, better fit

This technique gives us the ability to try on the sweater or cardigan at various stages and make adjustments along the way :

- You can choose long sleeves, ¾ sleeves or short sleeves

- You can choose the depth of the crew-neck 

- You can choose the body length as you want

- You can choose tight or moderate fit

Instructions are availables in cm and inches

This method of constructing a sweater or a cardigan is very versatile for both designing and sizing

The techniques involved are :

• the knit stitch

• the purl stitch

• increases KFB

• decreases K2TOG and SSK

• working flat and in the round

• picking up stitches
